25,000 SF of existing warehouse at Lee + White was turned into a new taproom and event space for local tenant Monday Night Brewing. As their second location in Atlanta, the Garage reflects their love for experimentation in the craft brewing industry and celebrates their passion for diversity, community, and culture.
 

Some of the key features of Monday Night Garage include the different types of exterior spaces throughout the site. Careful coordination between civil, the landscape designer, and the BeltLine was important to ensure the design’s success. One of the main challenges of the project involved facilitating adequate access for the fire marshal to the Garage’s entry while still providing an engaging entry sequence for the client. It’s easy to consider entry and access when your project is not an adaptive reuse warehouse on the far end of a parking lot, but with the Garage we were able to give them vibrant outdoor spaces while keeping safety a priority. Monday Night Garage expresses our strong commitment to getting both the architecture and the urban design for a project right.
