The result of a public-private partnership between Fabric Developers and Vantage Realty Partners, and the City of Duluth, Parson’s Alley is a vibrant, walkable destination in historic downtown Duluth. Situated at the end of Duluth’s public green, the development is comprised of over 31,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space housed within two adapted historic structures and five new buildings, all designed by KUA. To craft the identity of Parson’s Alley, the design team turned to the area’s history. The resulting designs reference historic building styles and materials while contributing to an updated and heightened sense of place. Completed in 2016, the project has been referenced as a national case study for small-town downtown redevelopment and has been recognized by several national and regional awards.
