The Elway development is comprised of a two-story mixed-use building and two clusters of townhomes in the intown Atlanta neighborhood of Ormewood Park. The prominent corner site occupies a transitional zone between a busy commuter road and a single-family neighborhood. In the mixed-use corner building, one and two-story apartments — each equipped with an exterior balcony — are located above ground-level retail spaces. Behind the corner building are two townhome clusters designed to ease the transition from the congested road to the quiet residential neighborhood beyond. The ground floor of the street-facing townhomes is designed to accommodate a live/work setup, with flexible space easily converted into a home office or a rentable guest suite.
